Basic Newborn Hat
Pattern: Basic hat - CO 65, worked in ribbing for 1", worked straight for about 3 more inches, decreased evenly (starting with every 8 stitches) every other row.
Yarn: Leftover Paton's SWS
Needles: US 7
Dates: May 7-8 2007
Comments: Still in love with this yarn. And the way the decreases are worked in pink on the top makes me think of a flower. This hat is also earmarked for charity.

I am hoping that this gets to you, Sammie. I notice that you haven't blogged for some time so not sure you still check on it. THANKS for commenting on my blog. Would love to talk more about the local New Haven/ Hamden family bike riding scene. It IS happening, little by little. Since we start riding 1 1/2 years ago, we've run into more families interested in bike commuting, and more local cargo bikes. A few of us have talked about doing a New Haven/Hamden Kiddical Mass ride. Would be great to gather interested folks together. You can reach me directly at crumstrong at gmail. -sara
